Crossing Over is developed and operated by Futuron Inc ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Profile data — Names, personality traits, stories, and other details you enter about loved ones. This data is stored locally on your device.
Conversations — Messages you exchange within the app are stored on your device.

Information collected automatically:

Usage data — We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., app opens, feature usage) to improve the app experience. This data cannot identify you personally.
Purchase data — Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the core app experience — generating AI-powered conversations based on profiles you create
To process and manage your subscription
To improve app performance and fix bugs
To respond to support requests

4. AI & Third-Party Services

To generate conversations, profile information you provide (such as personality traits, interests, relationship details, and conversation history) is sent to third-party AI services (MiniMax and Kimi) for processing. These services process the data only to generate responses and do not store or use your data for their own purposes. No personally identifiable information (such as your real name or contact details) is sent to these services. Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS.

These third-party AI providers maintain data protection practices that provide the same or greater level of protection as described in this privacy policy.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your profile data and conversation history are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain copies of your conversations on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data transmitted to our services.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you for analytics purposes.

7. Your Rights

You can:

Delete your data — Remove any profile or conversation from within the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
Cancel your subscription — Manage or cancel through iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Contact us — Request information about your data by emailing us.

8. Children's Privacy

Crossing Over is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
