1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Crossing Over ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Crossing Over is an AI-powered companion app that allows you to create personality profiles of people important to you and have conversations with an AI that reflects their personality. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Important Disclaimers

• The AI responses are generated content and do not represent actual communications from any person, living or deceased.
• Crossing Over is not a substitute for professional grief counseling, therapy, or mental health support.
• We make no guarantees about the accuracy, appropriateness, or quality of AI-generated responses.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Crossing Over offers a free tier (2 messages per month) and Premium subscriptions (monthly at $14.99/month or yearly at $99.99/year).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide (names, memories, photos, personality details). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service (generating AI responses). We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Create profiles intended to harass, defame, or impersonate others for harmful purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the AI models
• Redistribute or commercially exploit the App's content or features

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Futuron Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
